On thesixtyone.com, new artists make music and listeners decide what’s good. The site features tracks self-uploaded by indie artists and users get to vote their favorites up the rank by hearting.
Recently the site design was revisited. You can still get to the old interface for now by going here.
The new interface is a little mystical, using simple overlays for all the navigation. But for what the new design may seem to lack in straightforwardness, it more than makes up for with grandeur and beauty. Thank you high resolution images and minimalistic controls.
The backlash is predictable because the new design is unique. We say well done sixtyone! Keep the changes coming.
